The Thai TV stations are now showing messages in Thai saying that the Military has taken over the country without any opposition to them doing so, and that there is now a curfew in place.

There have also been reports of Tanks moving through Satorn and Silom areas. It’s unclear what details on the curfew there are, but it is advisable not to push your luck and stay in unless you must go out.

Similar to a decade or so ago, it seems that there is very little resistance to this military presence. This is great news. If history is set to repeat itself, after a few days of Chaos and ensuring the unpopular Thaksin cannot or does not return to try to take power, the King will announce that it is time for a new election and peace will reign..
